1# Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar works as an astringent that helps in cleaning up the scalp and leaves it healthy by removing the dead skin cells. It also helps in maintaining the pH balance of the scalp to keep it away from scalp related infections. Take 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and mix it with 4 cups of water. Now apply this on your scalp and massage very gently.

Let it stay on your scalp for half an hour and after that rinse your hair with normal water. Repeat this process once in a week to keep up the health of your scalp. Never apply apple cider vinegar directly to your scalp as it can damage your scalp and your hair as well.

2# Lemon Juice

Lemon helps in providing relief from itchy scalp and keeps scalp healthy

Lemon is loaded with healing properties and is a natural antiseptic that cleans the scalp and keeps infections at bay. Take 2-3 lemon and take out their juice in a bowl. Now apply this juice on your scalp and then massage for few minutes. Let it stay on your scalp for atleast 5 to 10 minutes. Wash your hair with a shampoo and repeat this process once in a week. Always cover your head and then step out in the sun after applying lemon in your hair as sun rays can lighten your hair.

3# Bananas

Banana has moisturizing properties that not only prevents itchiness of the scalp but also removes the dandruff from the scalp. Take 2-3 fully ripe bananas and mash them well to make a smooth paste. Now apply this mixture on your scalp and massage it well. Let it stay on your scalp for atleast 30-45 minutes. Rinse your hair with warm water to remove this mask. Repeat this process once every week.

4# Warm Oil Massage

Warm oil is very good for your scalp’s health as it keeps the hair follicles strong and takes off dead skin from the scalp thereby nourishing it. Take any oil of your choice in a bowl and warm it at a comfortable temperature on low heat or on a double boiler. Heat it up for 10-15 minutes and then massage your scalp with this oil for 10-15 minutes. Let this oil be on your scalp for 30 minutes and then wash off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this once in a week to give your hair the thickness and relief from the itchy scalp.

5# Neem Leaves

Take some fresh neem leaves and grind these leaves into a fine paste by adding very little water. Apply this neem paste on your scalp and let it rest for 20-30 minutes. Wash your hair with lukewarm water and repeat this process 2-3 times in a week. You can also use neem oil if there is no neem tree nearby your house. 6# Onion Juice

Onion juice helps in cleaning up the scalp, gives freedom from itchiness and also helps in regrowing the hair naturally. It is rich in antioxidants that keeps the infections at bay and the scalp remains healthy. Take 2-3 big sized onions and peel their skin. Grate them and then squeeze out their juice in a bowl. Now, dip a cotton ball in this juice and then apply it all over your scalp. Massage it well and then let it stay on your scalp for 20-30 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo and repeat this 2-3 times in a week.

7# Baking Soda

It also helps in controlling the fungal infection of the scalp. Take 3-4 tsp of baking soda and add little water to form a smooth paste. Apply this paste on your scalp and let it stay on your scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water after that and then let your hair dry up naturally. Your itchiness and dryness of the scalp will curb down after the use of baking soda. Make sure that you apply any nourishing oil on your scalp before applying baking soda as it is rough in texture and its massage can harm the skin of your scalp.
