The trending mix and match

Unlike early times, decor styles nowadays are mostly made out of mixing and matching different colours, textures, designs, materials etc. Gone are the days of using matching shades, drapes and materials. Right now the trend is of mixed and matched kitchen cabinets- made of two different looking materials. Also, not all three or four pieces of sofa remain matching anymore. Add an extra piece that stays different from the three seater in style and also colour.

Bold and rustic ideas

Open spaces

Open plans are more in trend these days. The total area covered may not be vast but the plan is more open , lessening the boundaries between different areas. For example, no walls are seen between dining, kitchen and drawing rooms. This gives a feeling of spaciousness and is always graceful while keeping the inmates connected.

Statement mirrors

Mirrors were often part of the growing decor styles. Even a plain large square mirror fixed to a wall did the job but, at present the trend is of large statement mirrors especially in bathrooms. These add elegance and style to a space making it stand out.
