1.The Soaking Method

However, this method takes a long time but gives adequate results. For this, you need two bowls. Make sure one bowl is slightly largerin size. Fill the Larger bowl halfway with warm water. Now fill the smaller bowl with acetone. Place the smaller bowl in the larger one. This is the only way to warm acetone. Acetone cannot be warmed by heating it on the stove or microwave as it catches fire very quickly.

Once the acetone is warm, soak your nails in it. Wait for a few minutes. The nail gel polish gets soaked,and its corners start getting loose. Now with the help of a wooden stick, lose the gel on each of the nails gently. Once the gel is removed completely from both the hands, apply an ample amount of cuticle oil and hand cream.

2.Foil Method

For this, you need a roll of tin foil and cotton balls. But first of all,remove the shine of the manicure by buffing its surface with a nail file. Now soak cotton balls in the solution of acetone and place it on the top of the nails. This is followed by wrapping your nails with a piece of foil.

Wait for a few minutes,and the gel nail polish will side of along with the cotton ball. In the case, some residue is left it can be removed with the help of orange-wood stick.
