If you are suffering from gastritis then it is a good idea to avoid citrus juices and fruits. Citrus fruits or juices might increase the acid reflux that will result in stomach pain. It will also irritate the stomach lining and cause stomach pain.
Tomatoes contain vitamin C and they are acidic in nature so in case of gastritis it causes irritation in the stomach lining and cause stomach pain. It is better to eat tomato in salad rather than eating it on an empty stomach. Eat it in moderation and if the pain occurs then you need to stop consuming it on daily basis.
3# Spicy Food
Green chilli, garlic powder, red and black pepper and other spices causes the gastritis to worsen and this results in stomach pain. In gastritis, the stomach lining gets already irritated and when spicy food is consumed this worsens the situation further. Better to stay away from spicy food and eat simple, boiled food to keep your stomach healthy.
