Hives or Urticaria is a skin condition characterized by the appearance of swollen red or pink patches slightly raised above the surface.

Hives may vary in shapes and sizes, and there is constant burning and itching. The outbreak of hives is sudden and may last for hours or a couple of days.

The common symptoms of hive include red or pick raised batches that develop on a different part of the body. There is swelling and itching. The quantities change shape disappears and then appears again. There may be burning sensation around eyes, in feet and palms. Heat , emotional excitement and humidity lead to flare up. The pattern of the hive is repetitive and unpredictable.

2.Cold Compress to Get Rid of Hives  –

Applying cold packs to the affected area is also one of the popular home remedy. You can apply ice or frozen vegetable pack to the affected area for a few minutes for this purpose. Do not use ice directly over the affected part or it may cause chilblains? Wrap ice cubes in tissue paper. Do not apply cold compress for more than 10 minutes. Repeat cold compress a few times in a day.

3.Baking Soda to Get rid Of Hives –

Baking soda or sodium bicarbonate treats hive quickly. To a teaspoon baking soda, add sufficient water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the affected area in generous amount.

4.Aloe vera gel to Get rid Of Hives –

One of the best home remedy to get rid of hives is aloe vera. Not only we recommend you to apply aloe vera to the affected area but also to drink aloe vera juice daily.

5.Basil leaves to Get rid Of Hives –

Basil leaves are natural antihistamine. Steep a teaspoon of basil leaves in hot water for 15 minutes. Let it cool. Apply the concoction to hives a few times in a day.

6.Apple Cider Vinegar to Get rid Of Hives –

The healing properties of apple cider vinegar also treat hives. Add a cup of apple cider vinegar to bathtub filled with water. Soak yourself in it for 20 minutes. Repeat this daily.

7.Epsom Salt to get rid Of Hives-

Epsom Salt relives Pain and swelling. To your bathtub filled with water, add a cup of Epsom salt. Soak yourself in it for 20 minutes. Repeat this every alternate day for complete relief.

8.Oatmeal bath to get rid Of Hives –

Not just eating oats if good for health but having oatmeal bath also treats hive. Add a few tablespoon oatmeal to bath tub filled with water. Soak yourself in it for 20 minutes and then pat yourself dry to get rid of itching.
