How To Get Rid Of Wrinkles On Your Hand
Just like other parts of your body, your hands too need special attention and care. However, most of us focus so much on skin care routine for our face that we often neglect our hands. As we age there are wrinkles on our hands.

We cannot prevent thinning and ageing of the skin but we can slow it down with simple ways.
Why Do Our Hands Look Wrinkled
The Skin on our hands is delicate. As we age, it tends to lose elasticity that lead to wrinkles. A few specific reasons behind the wrinkles on our hand include excessive washing, dehydration, over exposure to sun, repeated exposure to chemicals and routine activities such as cleaning and washing dishes.
Steps To Get Rid Of Wrinkles On Our Hands
Moisturise Your Hands Regularly –
Moisturising our hand helps to achieve a good skin. If your skin is oily, use mild moisturiser. If you have a combination of skin moisturise the areas that are typically very dry.

Apply Sunblock –
Before stepping out in the sun, we make sure to apply sunscreen all over our face and neck but most of the time we ignore our hands. Exposure to the sun leads to irregular pigmentation, brown spots and wrinkles. When our skin is exposed to extreme sunlight the elastin and collagen fibres in the skin breakdown and the skin loses the fibre support which leads to wrinkles. To protect your skin apply sunscreen over the exposed areas. Make sure to wear full sleeves. You can also wear sun protective gloves to safeguard your hand.
Exfoliate Your Hands –
As we age, the natural exfoliation process slows down and dead skin cells build up. Make sure to exfoliate your hands with mild scrub at least two times in a week to get rid of dead skin cells. This will also speed up cellular turnover and soften the wrinkles and fine lines on your hands.
Keep Yourself Hydrated –
Drink lots of water to keep tissue and cell of your body refreshed and hydrated. Also drinking lots of water flushes out the body toxins and aids digestion, maintains the body temperature, keeps the skin healthy and hydrated. Aim to drink at least 7 to 8 glasses of water everyday.

Give Your Hands Rest –
Take adequate sleep every night for a happy and healthy skin. Sleep provides your body the time to replenish itself and promotes the skin’s natural recovery process.
Follow a good night skin care routine–
Before sleeping better moisturise your hands so that that the moisturiser is absorbed properly. Make sure to use moisturiser that is made up of ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and glycolic acid.
